There are two popular brands as yeast infection medication: Monistat and Canesten. Also, you can find all natural medication for yeast infection, mostly with homeopathic ingredients. The difference between the normal yeast infection pills and ointments is in their active ingredient from thier composition. Yet, usually they contain clotrimazole, miconazole, butoconazole, terconazole and nystatin if they come as pills.

Another treatment is Diflucan. This is usually recommemded for chronic candida. If you suffer from some illnesses such as liver disease, kidney disease, heart problems or you are allergic to some of its ingredients, you need to discuss it with your doctor. In some countries you can buy it without prescriptions, in others you may need a doctor’s prescription for it. It can treat fungal infection from your body but it can not be used for cold or flu. Also you can not use it if you breast feed, if you plan a getting pregnant or during pregnancy.
